Blowing in the Wind.

Whilst my search for new Instrumental music I came across this wonderful musician Gheorghe Zamfir. I Instantly recognized the tune to be one from Kill Bill.
It is a truly haunting tune. I've always had a thing for wind instruments especially the flute the Trumpet and the Trombone. Guess it could be because I spent
my childhood listening to My Grandfather play the Trombone (he also played the Double Bass), and my Granduncle play the trumpet, Figures why I also like the violin and the double bass so much.
But the flute cant quiet seem to remember what it is about it. I am enraptured by the lilting melodies and bouyant rythms that one hears from a flute.
The flute in contention here is the pan-flute, and the man in contention seems to be a master at the art of playing the Pan flute. I am not an expert on the Topic so will abstain from discussing technicalities about the music.

For more information or to listen to this wonderful music you can go to : Videos of Pan-Flute

The song I was looking for is called The Lonely Shepherd by Zamphir
Warning: The tune could get locked in your head and you may fall into a deep relaxed state of mind
Somehow this tune has got stuck in my head and it keeps playing over and over again, not that thats a problem but I feel like just sitting back and relaxing, and I dont have the time for that. Well music is powerful and can control your mind.
Gosh now I gotta go watch Kill Bill again. Somehow while watching the movie I thought the tune was Japanese, but it turns out I was wrong.

Trivial monetary concerns

Americas 10 Richest people
1. William Gates III       6. Jim C. Walton
2. Warren Buffett        7. Christy Walton & family
3. Sheldon Adelson      8. S. Robson Walton
4. Lawrence Ellison      9. Michael Dell
5. Paul Allen             10. Alice L. Walton

6 of them Drop outs...Now I know why i'll never make enough money cause I've been tarnished by education.
Bill Gates an ideal inspiration. If he is made a role model, kids all ove rthe world will start dropping out of school and
copying other peoples work taking credit for it and making tons of money. But who cares....
Then again None of the so called millionaires are as humble and philanthropic as Bill and Warren.

The one thing in all of these guys is that they strived hard for what they wanted and believed in themselves, maybe thats where I lack. Well i'm going for another smoke now to ponder over my wretched financial status and envisage a world where I am Bill ion aire.

Ides of September

13th of September a momentous Calendar day in my family. My Dad and my Sisters Bday...They are exactly 30 years apart. Also my best friend (extra sis) Bday. The funny thing is that she is getting married on the same day as my Mom and Dad's anniversary. That makes things easy for me. Fewer occassions to remember. Also to note my Dad's Godchild is also born on the 13th of Sept.
Thank God I'm not in Bbay. I remember the running around I had to do to wish everyone and all the cake I had to eat. Well the cake part i liked. What did someone say phone, well you see people born on the 13th dont like wishes oer the phone unless your continents apart.
13 is and has always been a big part of my life. I was born and brought up in an apartment #13. I am born on the 26th which is 13 times 2. I started school on the 13th of June. I rode my Yamaha on my 13th Bday and the list goes on. No 13 Lucky for some, I guess my family belongs to that lucky bunch.

Ave Maria

Tis the 8th of September.....For my pals in bbay...this weekend is Bandra Fair....Ohh Nostalgic times at the the fair...The Giant Wheel, the Chanas, The Sweets....The whole thing was a big affair when I was small. Walking it up all the way to the Mount, Waiting in a never ending line to get in the Church, Fighting the Crowd down the stairs to get back to the Fair.
The novenas before the feast when we would collect flowers, the fight to get better flowers, the wait for the feast to fight for sweets after Mass.
Childhood Days of Yore......
